About PD Measure Online
Making vision care accessible to everyone through technology
Our Mission
We believe that everyone deserves access to accurate vision measurements without barriers. PD Measure Online was created to provide a free, accessible, and private tool for measuring pupillary distance - a critical measurement often overlooked or charged for by traditional optical retailers.
By leveraging cutting-edge AI and computer vision technology, we've made it possible for anyone with a smartphone or computer to measure their PD accurately from the comfort of their home, completely free of charge.

Our Technology
PD Measure Online is built on modern web technologies and advanced machine learning models. We use Google's MediaPipe Face Mesh, which detects 478 3D facial landmarks in real-time, allowing for precise pupil localization and measurement.
The credit card reference method provides accurate scaling, as standard credit cards are manufactured to exact specifications (85.6mm × 53.98mm) globally, ensuring consistent results regardless of device or camera quality.
